Great Falls, Montana

Great Falls is located along side of and named after what Lewis and Clark termed the "Great Falls of the Missouri".  Five of the original seven falls are still visible.

Today, Great Falls is the marketing center for the agricultural area referred to as the "Golden Triangle" which is known worldwide for its production of high quality wheat.Gibson Park

Other Great Falls attractions include:

C.M. Russell Museum - Houses the most complete collection of original works by the world-famous western artist, Charles Marion Russell.

Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center

Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center - A new attraction to Great Falls, this complex outlines the historic journey of Lewis and Clark.  The building houses numerous exhibits and even has its own theater.

Fishing, hiking, and skiing - The Missouri River runs through Great Falls.  The Missouri is renowned for great trout fishing and Broadwater Bay in Great Falls is a local summertime attraction offering water skiing and picnic areas.

For those a little more serious about the outdoors, there are the Little Belt Mountains and the Lewis and Clark National Forest, which provide plenty of outdoor hiking opportunities. Showdown ski area is a short drive away.

If you are quite serious about the outdoors, a little longer drive takes you to the world famous Glacier National Park.
