At Hamilton Misfeldt & Company P.C. we recognize that our most valuable resource is our employees. Only through competent, highly motivated staff may our clients' needs be best served. This is a concept that our firm has understood for a long time.  In order to stay a step ahead of the competition, we continually work to make Hamilton Misfeldt & Company P.C. the best accounting firm to work for.  

We do this in a number of ways.   First, we position the firm correctly in the market place.  In today's accounting environment there is no shortage of work.   Finding clients that value our services and in turn providing the best service that meets their needs is what we strive to accomplish.  In working towards this philosophy, we provide a winning situation for our clients and Hamilton Misfeldt.   Hamilton Misfeldt has a solid reputation in Montana for providing quality work at a fair price and over the years we have built a strong quality client base.  This is important because the salaries we are able to pay are based upon the quality of our client base.   We also compare our salary base with information available from other Montana firms and organizations.

 Second, we remain committed to the personal growth and development of our staff.  In-house Continuing Professional Education (CPE) as well as outside classes are an integral part of our professional activities at Hamilton Misfeldt.  We are not a large firm so training is personal. Our approach is to give you projects and closely supervise the work either by senior level staff or often times by the partners.  As progress is made, more responsibility is given.

Finally, working for a smaller firm you can expect a variety of work, especially when starting out your career.  See what you like and what you're good at.   We try to keep an easy going attitude, even though our business is getting projects done for our clients in a timely manner.  We try to have a little fun doing it!  Company picnics ,Christmas parties, and other social activities are very important to our firm.
